Description:
The Coil Tubing Frac Head is custom designed for specific company needs. The Coil Tubing Frac Head provides the same protection from the erosive and corrosive fluid effects as the other Stinger Frac Heads while protecting the coil with a specially machined blast joint.
Specifications:
Pressure rating: 69 MPa (10,000 psi) working pressure
Sizes and flow rates: blast joint available in either 63.5 mm (2 1/2 in). or 76.2 mm (3 inch ID) flow rate not to exceed 5.5 m3/min.
The coil tubing frac head is designed to protect the coil but does not isolate the wellhead so pumping pressure is limited to wellhead working pressure and must be installed on a 180mm (7 1/16 in.) full opening gate valve.
Features:
1. Wash on the coil tubing is minimized with our patented design providing optimum protection from erosion.
2. Depending upon the customer requirements, the connection configurations on both the top and bottom of the Coil Tubing Frac Head can accommodated to many sizes and set ups.
3. For ease of operation the Coil Tubing Frac Head comes equipped with a flowback valve for pressure equalization and flowback capabilities without using wellhead valves.
4. The Coil Tubing Frac Head can be configured with two or four plug valves depending on the pumping rates required.
*The bottom hole assembly can be a larger ID than our blast joint by installing it prior to tool installation. The bottom hole assembly will be held in place with shear pins. The assembly and blast joint are then installed on coil then lowered into the Coil Tubing Frachead and the blast joint is locked into place. The downward force of the coil will shear off the brass pins allowing the bottom hole assembly to be lowered into the wellbore.
