Description:
Stinger offers two types of assemblies: the Special Pin Assembly and the Screw-on Assembly. There are several different configurations to choose from that either have plug valves that stand up extremely well to corrosive materials encountered in high pressure fracturing and gate valves which include seats, seals and internal components designed to with stand the erosive and corrosive effects from the fluids and abrasives that flow through them. Our high viscosity grease formulation prevents sand migration into valve cavities, thereby reducing valve leaks and down time, while our experienced technicians provide service, repair, assembly, and testing before each job. Our high level of service and quality controls assure high reliability and lower customer cost.

Specifications:
Stinger FracĀ  Heads are available in full opening 77.8 mm (3 1/16 in.) x 69 MPa (10, ooo psi), 103.5 MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure and full opening 103.5 mm (4 1/16 in.) x 103.5 MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure.

Special Pin Assembly Features
Advantages: The special pin assembly eliminates the extended neck tubing hanger and will adapt to all common tubing hangers. The bonnet incorporates a positive sealing system. The seals are energized and pressure tested to 69 MPa (10,000 psi) prior to the frac treatment. Running a back pressure valve or a tubing plug allows the special pin assembly to be safely installed and removed by a Stinger crane unit without the assistance of a service rig. The special pin assembly vent assures that a proper seal has been achieved and is maintained throughout the stimulation procedure. There is no need tom move your tubing or packer.

Installation/Removal procedure:
1. Without a service rig and without killing the well, install tubing plug or backpressure valve in tubing hanger.
2. Remove production wellhead.
3. Install special pin into the tubing hanger, install seal bonnet and frachead, torque to specs.
4. Pressure test adapter spool seals
5. Remove tubing plug or back pressure valve.
6. Reverse procedure to remove.

Screw-On Assembly:
Advantages: Screws directly on tubing after packer is set in tension. Can be flanged on to BOPs or tubing spool for multiple zone access. Available in EUE, VAM, and Nu-Lock.

Components:
Two main valves:
77.8 mm (3 1/16 in.) flanged, sour trim, full opening, 69 MPa (10,000 psi) or 103.5 MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure
Or
103.55 mm (4 1/16 in.) flanged, sour trim, full opening, 103.5 MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure
Wing Valve:
46mm ( 1 13/16 in.) flanged, sour trim, full opening, 69MPa (10,000 psi) or 103.5MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure.
*If requested the wing valve can changed out to a full opening 77.8 mm ( 3 1/16 in.) with 103.5 MPa (15,000 psi) working pressure to accommodate frac ball flow back*

Safety and Service:
Stinger has an extremely cost efficient repair program. The majority of the maintenance, service, and repair are done in house by qualified technicians and machinists. A patented procedure is used to lap and shim valve gates and seats, enabling us to assess a standard repair charge.
